Tony Marr, age 64, of Yankton, SD passed away unexpectedly at Avera Sacred Heart Hospital, Yankton, SD. Memorial services will be 11:30 AM, Saturday, December 13, 2014 at Kingsway Christian Church, Yankton, with Rev. Bob Mason officiating, Burial will be in the Yankton Cemetery, Yankton, SD. Visitations will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
Tony was born February 3, 1950 in Grand Forks, ND to Clarence and Annie (Sondrol) Marr. He grew up on a farm near Fort Calhoun, NE. He graduated from Fort Calhoun Nebraska High School in 1968. Tony lived in Omaha and Fort Calhoun, NE. He worked for Waldinger Corporation for 25 years as a sheet metal construction worker/journeyman and foreman in Omaha, NE before moving to Yankton.
Tony is survived by his children: Andy, Brandon and Janice; three grandchildren: Jaden, Autumn and Annaliese; siblings: Jeanine Marr, Camilla Borgelt, Kenneth (Connie) Marr, Ward (Patty) Marr; 12 nieces and nephews and many grand nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, John and Terry
