Christopher James Bailey, age 38, of Sioux Falls, SD, formerly of Yankton, SD died February 17, 2015 in Sioux Falls, SD. Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, February 20, 2015 at Opsahl-Kostel Funeral Home & Crematory, Yankton, SD, with Rev. Dave Gunderson officiating. Burial of his cremated remains will be at a later date. Visitations will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Christopher was born January 31, 1977 in Yankton, SD to Larry L. Olson and Jolene R McCloud. Christopher attended school in Yankton, SD. On March 24 2001 he married Elizabeth LaBahn and to this marriage one child, Kylan James was born. At the time of their marriage, Elizabeth also had a daughter, Kassondra Marie.
Chris was previously employed by Karl's TV & Appliance, Fullerton Lumber Company and Larry's Heating & Cooling, all of Yankton, SD and also Dey Appliance in Sioux Falls, SD. He was currently employed by Stan Houston Equipment Company in Sioux Falls, SD.
He is survived by his son, Kylan James of Sioux Falls, SD; step-daughter, Kassondra Marie of Mesa, AZ; his parents, Larry Olson of Yankton, SD and Jolene McCloud of Yankton, SD; sisters, Tara Capps and Nikki Warren, both of Olathe, KS; grandparents, Bill Bailey of Sioux Falls and Ana Bailey of Yankton, SD; uncles, Craig & Bruce Bailey, Harold Olson and aunt, Connie Bitsos, all of Yankton, SD.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Oscar and Dorothy Olson.
