DANGEL DUANE

Duane Dean Dangel, age 42 of Yankton, SD passed away unexpectedly at his home in Yankton, SD.  Visitations will be 5 to 7 PM, Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at the Opsahl-Kostel Funeral Home & Onsite Crematory, Yankton, SD with a Scripture service and memory sharing at 7:00 PM.  After cremation his cremated remains will be interred at the Presbyterian Cemetery, Avon, SD later.  Online condolences may be sent at: www.opsahl-kostelfuneralhome.com.

Duane Dean Dangel age 42 was born in Yankton on June 15th 1981 to Gregory and Violet Dangel (Petersen) he attended Yankton High School and graduated in 1999. He went to Mount Marty College where he earned a degree in IT. He worked in computer and copier repair most of his life.  He enjoyed reading, video games and collecting and reading comic books.  He was a loving father to his 2 children, and he will greatly be missed. 

He is survived by his son Charles Dangel and his daughter Mary Jane Dangel.  His parents Gregory and Violet Dangel.  His sibling brothers Larry Dangel of Yankton and Jeff Dangel of Yankton.  He was preceded by his grandparents.
