Frank Lee Blakey, age 56 of Sioux Falls, SD passed away on Monday, July 18, 2022 at his home.
A memorial Celebration of Life for Frank will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at Riverside Park in Yankton, SD. Online condolences may be made to: www.opsahl-kostelfuneralhome.com. Arrangements are under the direction of the Opsahl-Kostel Funeral Home and Crematory in Yankton.
Frank Lee Blakey was born on July 8, 1966 in Yankton, SD to Leroy Blakey and Rose Thornton Blakey.
He went to Utah Job Corps. for Heavy Equipment Operator school and worked for various construction companies until he was injured and moved to Sioux Falls.
He is survived by his mother, Rose (Thornton) Blakey of Yankton, SD; two brothers, Leroy Blakey of San Diego, CA and David Blakey of Yankton, SD; two sisters, Michelle Blakey of Yankton, SD and Vonda (Blakey) Richards of Rapid City, SD; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Frank was preceded in death by his grandparents; his father; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
