I just recently learned of Chris' passing through my sister who stull lives in Yankton. I remember him when we were in school together, especially in Beadle and Yankton Middle School. He loved wrestling and hanging out with the Danny & Darrin Johnson and the gang. We lost touch in high school, but would see him in the halls with his buddies laughing and loving life. My prayers & heartfelt sympathy to his family and friends at this time of great sorrow and loss over their loved one Chris. May you take his spirit Lord to Heaven & make him see his loved ones waiting for him in celebration & his ascension into the Kingdom of Eternal Life. His beautiful pictures celebrating his life is just lije how I remember Chris. A gentle giant with a big heart. He looked like he was a loving and caring person with his family and that cute little kitten he had cuddling in his arms. Chris wull always be a member if the Cool Class of 1990. Chris graduated a year ahead of me. But I remember him well from high school and playing football. I remember him as a gentle soul and the nicest guy. My condolences to the family.

Chris and I were friends during our time in Yankton. I was lucky enough to play football with him and we were teammates for years. A great sportsman and an outstanding lineman who helped our team to many victories. Chris gave his best effort in everything he did. I’m sad to see he passed and I hope his family knows that his memory lives on. Douglas Cole.

I still remember waiting around for Chris to show up at the usual hang out spot so I could ask him to be a part of my wedding. We didn't have Internet and cell phones in those days. I'm glad he was part of that special day.

Chris was such a special guy! Our kids grew up together...so many memories. A quiet man but with that ready smile that was infectious. My heart breaks for you, Tom, may God wrap his arms around all of you and give you peace and comfort. Jane and Dave Kress.
