Sending my heartfelt condolences to Tara,Brett,Will, and Derek for the passing of brother Greg ...
Have felt deeply these last days for you all and tears cannot express the depth of this unexpected loss ..
I have remembered fondly so many precious moments Greg and I shared as boys ...and I have been quietly amazed to witness the family he and Tara created up there in Gayville ...a family that exceeded beyond the bounds of most souls ..he touched so many with Grace and is a mentor to me and so many .
His spirit will always live within our hearts and minds ...
Wanted to say that I am solidarity and prayers for Greg's passing at this time ..
And sending thoughts of love and healing to you all .

Greg lived life to the fullest, though taken too soon from many. His family very blessed to have had him in their lives. Friends blessed by knowing him through Fire Dept, Boy Scouts, employees from his outstanding business he had with his wonderful wife and kids. Greg, I will never forget Fire Dept memories, meetings, and being employed by you and Tara! Keep your super Smiles filling our hearts. You will never be forgotten by many. Continued thoughts and prayers!

We were honored to know Greg. Greg was a man of great integrity and passion. We admired his passion for SD agriculture and rural communities. It was that passion that gave a wise voice to SD Agriculture in the Classroom program. Greg's wisdom and common sense will be missed by the SDAITC Program Advisory Team.
May God's grace and love embrace Greg's family and friends.
Respectfully,
Rev. Tim Olsen

As relative by marriage to Greg I considered him a part of our family as well and was privileged to share the part of his life that occurred while he was a student in high school and college in California. We were so proud of our incredibly hard working and amazingly talented nephew and cousin in law as he worked his way through university in nearby Davis. Later as fate would have it,my kids, Rio and Resha Cadone, went to the University of Kansas and lived in Lawrence Kansas for 8 years. During that time we were able to reestablish family ties with Greg who by then had met and later married Tara. They visited family gatherings in Lawrence during that time which was always a fun and fabulous time for all of us. We will always remember these beautiful times with greg and Tara andlaterwith their children. They will always be precious to us. Greg's passing leaves a rent in our hearts that won't be easily mended. Rest In Peace dear Greg you will live on famously in the hearts of the Cardones. Condolences to Lee and Mary, Tara and Greg's sons, Tara's pafents and my nephews Alex, Chris and Geoffrey who were brothers of Greg.

I guess I don’t need to tell you what a huge influence Greg had on the lives of the people of Gayville and beyond. He was one of those that walk I to your life and you just liked him right away. His loss will be felt by many. Know that he will always walk beside you and the boys and keep you safe. I pray for you to have peace and comfort in your time of loss and forever.
