Obituary of Annabell E. Clausen
Annabell was born July 16, 1929 in Le Mars, Iowa to John P. and Elizabeth (Kusser) Werdel.
Annabell grew up on the family farm near Ree Heights South Dakota and graduated from Mount Marty High School. She married Bob Clausen in 1950 and raised her family in Onida, Rapid City, Vermillion, and Yankton, South Dakota. Annabell was a longtime member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was involved in many activities supporting church and community.
Annabell is survived by her daughters: Deborah (Nick) Stocking, Rita Clausen, Bonita (Mike) Schrank, Mary Jane (Roger) Boetger; son, Michael (Lisa) Clausen; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Annabell was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; son, Robert Jr. and daughter-in-law, Marcia Clausen.
The family would like to thank the staff at Majestic Bluffs Senior Living Community in Yankton for their love and care over the past fourteen years and to the staff at New Perspective Senior Living in Waconia Minnesota for the past five months.
