Michael David Lynch, age 53, of Yankton, SD died after a brief illness Thursday, August 11, 2016 at the Avera McKennan Hospital, Sioux Falls, SD. On-line condolences may be sent at: www.opsahl-kostelfuneralhome.com.
Michael David Lynch was born May 5, 1963 to Bill and Alice (Stevens) Lynch in Yankton, SD and lived in Yankton his whole life. He graduated from Yankton High School in 1981. Michael was employed by Gehl Equipment Company for many years and then worked at Dakota Trailer. He lived with Cynthia R. Buskol for 21 years until her passing in 2014.
Some of his favorite hobbies were hunting and fishing on the Missouri River. Michael was a dog man, he had three dogs by the name of Steele, Shay, and Willie whom he loved very much.
Michael is survived by his father Willard (Bill) Lynch of Yankton, SD; his brothers, Daniel (Liz) Lynch of Tabor, SD, Robert (Kristie) Lynch of Byron, IL, Patrick Lynch of Yankton, SD, Thomas Lynch of Fort Lauderdale, FL: nieces and nephews, Benjamin Lynch of Lincoln, NE, Allison (Zeb) Pent of Fort Worth, TX, Sean Lynch of Columbus, GA, Ryan Lynch of Byron, IL, Jonna (Derick) Koegelenberg of Rapid City, SD, Yasmin Lynch of Vienna, Austria: great-nephews, Jude and Elliot Pent of Fort Worth, TX.
Michael was preceded in death by his mother Alice Loraine Lynch of Yankton, SD, his grandparents, and Cynthia Buskol of Yankton, SD.
