When I was done sweeping the floors at Truck-Trailer, Don would take me to there house on Ross St. and later to Maple St. to mow the grass. Virginia treated me to some great lunches. I can still remember going up and down that hill behind the Maple St. house mowing the grass and knowing it would be worth it when it was all done. I love it that they still had that wire art truck I made for Don when I was 10 or 12. It is on display in my man cave. Don and Virginia were like family, not just to me, but to all of us in the Varilek home.

Jeff and Jim,
Please accept my condolences on the loss of your mother. I have many memories of her from your family's time on Mulberry Street. She and your father were so good to me when I babysat and whenever I saw them. I can only imagine that she was a great mother and grandmother.

The Couch Family:
I always enjoyed times I got share with Virginia when she was in Colorado visiting. She was always positive, kind and smiling. I know her grand daughters, and I am sure her grandsons miss her very much. Jeff, Janice, Jim, and Cathy I feel your loss. You and your families are in my prayers for comfort and the Lord's peace during this time.
Don and Virginia are together again, and I am sure they are smiling...as always.
Gods Love,
Pam

Jim and Jeff - So sorry to see that your mom has passed. She was such a wonderful friend and neighbor. I always looked forward to visits home to Yankton knowing I would get a chance to visit with her. Seeing her smiling face in the obit picture was sweet. So few of that generation left.
