Colin - forever missed. Never forgotten. He was an official’s official - always teaching and a mentor to many. Including me. I will forever be grateful for the many things he taught me and the opportunities he gave me. But I am just one of many that he positively impacted in officiating and in life. Together we can live out his legacy and do our best to follow in his footsteps - doing things the right way and always with a smile.

My deepest sympathy to the loss of your father and grandfather.... I remember meeting him at the Lewis & Clark Playhouse when I used to be in musicals with his daughter Carolyn, back in the mid 1980s. Sending love and light for healing.

Kappy was truly one of a kind. He worked for me for a short time selling life insurance for Ohio National and my wife Kay and I as well as all of our associates truly thought very highly of Kappy. May the Good Lord Bless him and may he rest in peace!

Kappy was as good as it gets. Remember him from the grocery store as a child and on the field as an official. Touched all he knew with his kind heart. Great family man and a human being we can all be proud of. Peace to the Kapitans.

I was sad to read of Colin’s passing. Although have been gone from Yankton, since the early 50’s, did return many times to visit my parents when they were alive. Always remember Kapitan’s grocery on 3rd Street and when they moved to Douglas Street. My condolences to his family. RIP Colin.
