Tripp was born on August 2, 2016 in Yankton to Brandon and Jennifer (Wenzlaff) Teichroew. Tripp was always smiling regardless of what was happening. The minute he heard his dad’s voice, he would lift his head and perk up. He snuggled with mom the “best” and “most”. His little brother would say “my baby”, “lay here” or “there” and give him kisses all the time. Remy, his big sister was his number one helper which included bottle feeding, changing diapers and running errands. He was an amazing little boy and was so good to his family as he knew he would not be here long. Tripp was always happy even when he should not have been. His smile was as if Jesus was smiling through him. Tripp and Trace had a very special relationship. Remy expressed her wishes for a baby brother instead of a baby sister so her brother Trace had a buddy to play with.
Tripp is survived by his parents, grandparents: Angela Shuff, Mark and Cheryl Wenzlaff, Kevin and Robin Teichroew; great-grandparents: F. Ross Shuff, Duane and Donna Wenzlaff, Harlan & Carolyn Teichroew and Shirlee Copper; brother, Trace; sister, Remy; aunts and uncles: Amanda Wenzlaff, Jacob Wenzlaff, Gabe Wenzlaff, April (Aaron) Hansen, Amber (Travis) Hinnerichs, Justin (Priscilla) Teichroew and Joshua Teichroew and fifteen cousins.
Tripp was preceded in death by great-grandma, Janet Shuff and great-grandpa, Roger Copper.
As Remy told her parents, “We are all busy trying to get to heaven and he got to go first”.
