Obituary of Betty Jean Peitz
Please share a memory of Betty Jean to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Betty Jean was born January 18, 1939 at Fordyce, NE to Alphonse and Albina (Blaschke) Schrempp. She married Lawrence (Buddy) Peitz on August 27, 1957. Betty was a selfless, compassionate and faithful woman of God. She was a caregiver, not only in profession, but also in life. Anyone she crossed paths with felt her genuine love and appreciation. She had a way of making everyone around her feel special. In her free time, she designed crafts for her family and baked her famous pies, buns and cookies for the community. She led the rosary in church and led her family in prayer. Betty never turned down a game of cards or the opportunity to dance. Her smile was contagious and her faith, unfaltering. No matter the circumstances, she would find the silver lining and turn to the Lord for reassurance. Even in her final days, she was at peace, knowing that she would soon be the one that would be taken care of.
