Paesl Daniel

Daniel Paesl, 62, of Yankton, passed away at his home on May 2, 2025. Memorial service will be 10:30 am on Friday May 9, 2025 at the Opsahl-Kostel Funeral Home in Yankton. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Online condolences may be sent at www.opsahl-kostelfuneralhome.com. Daniel Kenneth Paesl was born on October 16, 1962 to Kenneth and Margaret Paesl at Creighton, Nebraska. He grew up on the family farm 1.5 miles east of Creighton. In 1981 he graduated from Creighton High School. After high school he joined the Nebraska National Guard and served for 6 years.

Daniel pursued an education in the HVAC industry after attending Northeast Technical College. He was self-employed in the HVAC industry in Yankton.

Daniel is survived by his special friend Cindy Eskins of Yankton; brother Steve (Linda) Paesl of Omaha, NE; nephews Jeff (Sara) Paesl of Omaha, Lance (Mia) Paesl of Omaha, and Greg Paesl of Lincoln; great nieces June Paesl and Dylan Paesl; great nephews Miles Paesl and Levi Paesl.

He was preceded in death by his parents Kenneth and Margaret Paesl; brothers Gregory Paesl and Jerry Paesl; grandparents Raymond and Margaret Paesl and Claude and Ellen Armbruster.
