We were saddened to hear of Brian's passing. We lived a few blocks from each other and he always honked or waved and smiled when he saw me. He always brightened my day with his smile and caring and enthusiastic character. He will be greatly missed.

We were sorry to hear about Brian’s passing. He always walked his dog past our house. Many days it was more like the dog was walking Brian, though, rather than Brian walking the dog. Brian didn’t care. He just kept smiling. Something we always admired about him...his smile and happy spirit!

It was nice to know Brian. He always had a smile on his face. I loved seeing that great smile at the VFW for Burger Night or anytime he was there. In the winter, I frequently saw him walking at the mall. He always had a smile on his face, waved, and sometime would say something funny to make me laugh. I will miss him.
My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

To the Larsen Family,
A very deep sadness hit my heart and soul when I got the news of the loss of a long time friend and my brother in-law Brian! No one ever expects that call of bad news. Brian was such a happy go lucky, free hearted and caring man, he would do anything for anyone. He cared so much for all his family and friends always checking in even just for a minute to make sure everything was ok! He kept watch on everyone in his life, He was such an angel. He always worried about everyone but himself and never ever complained about anything, that is what made him so very special!
My DEEPEST SYMPATHY to all family and friends, wish I could be there to pay my respects to Brian.
Love, Kim.

I was so saddened when I read this. Brian was one of the bright spots while I worked at the Hy-Vee Gas Station. He was never in a bad mood and was always smiling. It would have taken a great effort to be in a bad mood after interacting with him. I am so sorry for your loss.
